Both John & Heidi started in commercial gyms like David Lloyd and LA fitness before Slim Gyms opened 5 years ago. Our team is very passionate about fitness and love helping clients reach their fitness goals.

I am a fully qualified Level 3 personal trainer in Hove, Power Plate Trainer and Hypoxi-Therapy Coach with 14 years experience in the fitness industry. Whether you want to tone up, build muscle, sculpt your physique, lose weight, get your figure back after a baby or recover from or prevent injury, my dedicated training programs are tailored to your specific goals. Heidi helps people to become the most attractive versions of themselves. She has always been super active in her life. Heidi couldn’t imaginespending a single day without exercising or workout. She intensely believes that regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle can help improve all areas of your life. She will push her clients to their limits and ultimately guide them to achieving a better body composition and quality of life. She aims to create a long term plan with you that is sustainable, because consistency and simplicity are the keys to success.

HOW OFTEN WOULD YOU TRAIN ME?

If you aim to get your personal fitness training through exercise only, then I would suggest 3 sessions per week for you. This will offer you faster result and help you to obtain an optimal level of training as per your fitness goals.
Training twice in a week may also good along with your personal fitness routine.

CAN I GET DIET ADVICE FROM YOU?

Of course! As a trained and experienced personal fitness trainer I always believe that without proper diet your fitness training is incomplete. Having fitness training for two hours a day and then eating wrong foods will never give you the desired results. I give advice to my clients for healthy and natural eating habits that will help them to meet their fitness goals easily.

WHERE WILL THE TRAINING TAKE PLACE?

We are very flexible in where we can carry out our training sessions. At present we work from either Hove lawns, an outside space where you are comfortable with, whether that be at your home or elsewhere or at our space in Southwick.

 

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THIS INDUSTRY?

Though, Slim Gym  started its journey five years ago, I have been working in the fitness industry for the last 14 years. Apart from me, the two other trainers also have a vast experience in this field. Heidi’s been working as a fitness trainer for the last ten years and Chloe has a 25 years background in the fitness industry.

HOW LONG WILL THE TRAINING CONTINUE?

It completely depends on your health, mental strength, fitness needs and fitness goals. As a fitness trainer I will suggest you a fitness goal based on your body weight and height as well as your health condition. I will also set the time which will be required to achieve that goal. Till then you need to follow the training and the diet.
