Both John & Heidi started in commercial gyms like David Lloyd and LA fitness before Slim Gyms opened 5 years ago. Our team is very passionate about fitness and love helping clients reach their fitness goals .
We have trained hundreds of clients from all walks of life and are both fully qualified and registered with REPS, the registration of exercise professionals.

About Johnny

I am a fully qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer, Power Plate Trainer and Hypoxi-Therapy Coach with 14 years experience in the fitness industry. Whether you want to tone up, build muscle, sculpt your physique, lose weight, get your figure back after a baby or recover from or prevent injury, my dedicated training programs are tailored to your specific goals. It is my mission to give you the drive, enthusiasm and knowledge required to help you reach your full potential.

I became a Personal Trainer because I am passionate about health and fitness and I believe it’s not too much to say that your whole life can benefit from Personal Training. I love to share my extensive knowledge and experience acquired over the past decade to help my clients and friends enjoy happier, healthier lifestyles.

With me, it’s not just about sport and exercise. I believe a healthy lifestyle is not just your psychical fitness but also your mental health and well-being. I will give you specialist advice on diet and lifestyle as well ensuring you have the right eating plan to compliment your training and reach your goals and beyond. My programs also include out of the gym training so that you can continue on your path to success on days where you are not having a Personal Training session.

Once I have a complete understanding of your individual needs, I plan and execute a comprehensive strategy to achieve them. Keeping you involved throughout, I take great care to listen to and act on feedback. Designed to be progressive, challenging and enjoyable, the plan will take you through all facets of fitness development, making sure that you are not just leaner, but also stronger, more flexible, more stable and agile.

Heidi has always been very active and couldn’t imagine a life without exercising. She strongly believes that exercising and a healthy lifestyle can help improve all areas of your life. She will push her clients to their limits and ultimately guide them to achieving a better body composition and quality of life. She aims to create a long term plan with you that is sustainable, because consistency and simplicity are the keys to success.

Heidi is a true believer that everyone can enjoy exercise and achieve the goals with a suitable plan and support. She is passionate about weight training and aims to encourage women of all ages to get stronger and leaner.
